I bought my little 4" Newtonian's tube from Imre Lőrincz in 1999. The main mirror was originally made by Géza Csatlós then it was refined later by Gyula Kubus. The optics is not absolutely perfect but it provides beautiful image quality. I use it between 6.25 mm and 1.5 mm exit pupils (16x, 3° field - 67x, 48' field) and the stars are beautiful in the whole range. The wooden parts were made by me (tube rings, Dobson fork, mirror cell) and the tripod adapter and the focuser were designed by me and made by Imre Kürti and me. This is my only telescope.

Others' telescopes

I have been using many other telescopes as well to make deep-sky drawings. This I have to thank to the Hungarian Astronomical Association and many people such as: Ernő Berkó, Tibor Csukovics, Iván Éder, Ádám Kárpáti, András Papp, Gábor Szabó, Sándor Szabó, Gábor Szitkay. The list is probably not complete.
